Week 2 Results-Dancing With the Stars

Michael Bolton is the latest celebrity to be voted off Dancing With the Stars. C'mon, the guy started the routine coming out of a doghouse. Let's have some dignity. Not only that but the judges said it was one of the worst dances in 11 seasons. Sorry Michael. Ironic that we'll be "Missing You Now."

Looking for Something Different?

Face Time

This is my friend Amy AKA KaratKake. She doesn't have facebook or Twitter but she's my best friend and I wanted to give her some face time on the internet. I love this picture of her. This is when we went on the best vacation of my life to St. George Island.

The Stars Don't Lie

CHECK UR HOROSCOPE FOR THE DAY (Thanks to the LA Times)

Aries (March 21-April 19): You are not a relentlessly spontaneous person, and yet you have been known to take surprising turns toward adventures. Today, there will be an unexpected temptation to do so once again.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): You've been guided by teachers, parents and other mentors. Some showed you what to do, and others showed you what not to do.

Gemini (May 21-June 21): You have access to more options than you used to have and will therefore be inspired in new directions.

Cancer (June 22-July 22): Your work requires skills in many areas, but sales stands out now. And your smile does half of the work.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Your goal must be interesting enough to persuade and seduce you even when you've lost energy and funding.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Getting informed is easy once you decide it's important. It will be a vital part of making a good impression.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 23): You are a lifelong learner. Sometimes you're drawn to formal education, but lately it seems that the whole world is your classroom.

Scorpio (Oct. 24-Nov. 21): You will run into a fortuitous person or get another sort of lucky break. You are prepared for such events.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You'll be a fascinating addition to the group, regardless of how you supplement the conversation.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): French playwright Albert Guinon said, "When everyone is absolutely against you, it means that you are absolutely wrong — or absolutely right." The latter case will be yours today.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You will meet worthy opposition. You and your teammates must present a consolidated front.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): One close friend is not enough. You need at least three or four to help you celebrate and manage your life.

Living on a Prayer

"A new survey of Americans' knowledge of religion found that atheists, agnostics, Jews and Mormons outperformed Protestants and Roman Catholics in answering questions about major religions, while many respondents could not correctly give the most basic tenets of their own faiths."

So it looks like those who are super religious are not only ignorant when it comes to their views on homosexuality and evolution, but they don't know much about their own religion either. Looks like being religious may save you in the afterlife, but as far as this life, you're doomed to be closed-minded and ignorant. It's funny how those who aren't religious know the most about religion. It's a good thing I kicked my religious habit years ago...I feel I'm smarter for it and apparently that's true.

Sexy...No Bullshit

This video is sexy. I don't care if you're a Chris Brown fan or not. To be quite honest, he can beat me up all night. I ain't mad at all. lmao. No Bullshit.

No legs, no gays

I came across this news story on Yahoo! It's an inspirational story about a soldier who lost his legs in Iraq and how he is going back to fight. I am proud of this man for his courage and I don't mean to take anything away from him, but how is it that he can go to war without legs but openly gay soldiers aren't allowed to fight at all? It's a crime in this country that soldiers can't fight for their country based on sexual orientation. It's disgusting. They'd rather have double amputees than gays. SMH. See more about this story HERE.

Ghetto as Hell

These shoes are ghetto as hell. Check out these throwback high tops that look like they're from '88. What a fine display of design Kimora Lee Simmons Hounsou. Baby Phat's finest failure. Terrible.

The Black Swan

I'm not usually one for movies. And, to be honest, I hate to admit that I'm promoting a movie that has to do with the ballet. However, I came across this trailer for an upcoming movie called The Black Swan starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. It looks intense. I definitely want to see it. Watch the trailer for yourself here.

Jones in my Bones

In case u didn't know, I am a HUGE fan of Dhani Jones. He is known for many things but mostly for his professional football career. He is a linebacker and the defensive captain for the Cincinnati Bengals. He is also the star and host of the Travel Channel show 'Dhani Tackles the Globe.' He is an artist, philantropist and all around great man. He inspires me to be a better man. Anyway, he was recently interviewed for
The Official Blog of Astor & Black. Check it out. I hope u find Dhani to be as interesting as I do.
